Note 1: It's already possible to manually save/load multiplayer games in older versions of DTA (from v1.1464 and up), although loading does work more reliably in version 1.16.
Note 2: The auto-save interval depends on the gamespeed. There are are a specific number of frames between every save, which means that the game is saved once every 2 minutes when the game is running at 60 FPS (Fastest) and it's saved once every 3 minutes when the game is running at 40 FPS (Medium).
